self-raising wholewheat flour

ground nutmeg
ground cinnamon
raisins - or other dried fruit
Cream fat and sugar, add apple then flour and spices and dried fruit. (I add 1 tea spoon cider vinegar as well.)
Bake in grease lined 7” cake tin for 55-60 minutes in oven Gas Mark 2.
